These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.cardhero.com (the "Website") and all orders placed through it. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Who we are

The Website is operated by HCH Enterprises Ltd (trading as CardHero), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13701091. Our registered office is at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.

In these Terms, "we", "us" or "our" means HCH Enterprises Ltd.

The Website is powered by Shopify.

2. These Terms

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other documents referred to, form the entire agreement between you and us for the sale of Products.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when you place the order.

3. Our Products

We sell a range of traditional greeting cards and related stationery products ("Products").

Product images and descriptions on the Website are for illustration only. While we try to display colours and designs accurately, slight variations may occur in the physical product you receive.

4. Ordering process

Our Website uses Shopify’s secure checkout.

• Add Products to your basket and proceed to checkout.
• Provide accurate delivery and billing details.
• Review your order summary and confirm these Terms.
• Complete payment.

We will send you an order acknowledgement email. This does not mean your order has been accepted. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a Dispatch Confirmation email (or when the Products are dispatched).

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, due to stock shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full.

5. Price and payment

• All prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include UK VAT at the applicable rate.
• Delivery charges are shown separately and clearly at checkout.
• Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering through Shopify’s secure payment system (Shopify Payments and/or our chosen payment providers). Accepted methods are displayed at checkout.

6. Delivery

We primarily deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. International delivery may become available in the future – please check at checkout.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–3 working days. Standard UK delivery is usually 2–5 working days from dispatch via Royal Mail. Next-day / faster options are available at checkout.

Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery. Ownership remains with us until we have received full payment.

7. Your consumer rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all Products we supply must be:

• As described
• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for purpose

If a Product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund (including reasonable delivery costs). Contact us as soon as possible.

8. Cancellation and returns – 14-day cooling-off period

Because we sell only standard, non-personalised greeting cards (not made-to-order), you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The 14-day period begins the day after you (or someone you nominate) receive the Products.

How to cancel

1. Email us at hello@cardhero.com within the 14 days, clearly stating you wish to cancel and including your order number.
2. Return the Products to us (in their original, unused, and resaleable condition, with all packaging) within 14 days of notifying us. Return postage is at your expense (unless the item is faulty).

We will refund the full amount you paid (including standard delivery) within 14 days of receiving the returned Products (or proof of return). Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We may reduce the refund if the Products have been used or damaged.

This right is in addition to your statutory rights if a Product is faulty.

9. Our liability

• We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.
• Our total liability under any order is limited to the price you paid for the Products.
• We are not liable for business losses (loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, etc.) or any indirect/consequential losses.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Website (designs, text, images, logos, etc.) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit any part without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy and data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR).

12. General

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts (you may also bring proceedings in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there).
• If any provision is held invalid, the remainder will continue in full force.
• We may assign our rights and obligations; you may not without our consent.
• These Terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
