Greeting Cards
Yes - every greeting card comes with a matching envelope, ready to write and send.
We do not offer a service to send a physical greeting card to your recipient directly but we do offer digital eCards which can be delivered to their email or social media with a link.
Delivery times are Royal Mail's aims, not guarantees, and count working days only. We always recommend ordering with plenty of time to spare — please don't rely on a card arriving by a specific date, as occasional delays do happen with any postal service. If the occasion is close, our ecards are a great backup.
Tracked Delivery orders come with full Royal Mail tracking plus photo proof of delivery, so you can see exactly when it lands. Standard and Express orders aren't tracked — if you need that visibility, choose Tracked at checkout.
If you've got time, Standard is free and usually arrives within 2-3 working days. Express gives a faster turnaround, and Tracked is the option if you want full visibility on where your card is. Whichever you choose, please allow extra time around busy periods like Christmas and bank holidays.
Ecards
- Email Delivery:
On the send date and time you chose at checkout. We deliver it by email for then (UK time). - Link Delivery:
If you picked "Get a link", you'll have the share link in your confirmation email — share it whenever you like. - SMS Delivery:
On the date and time you choose at checkout, we restrict choice between 6AM and 11:59PM to prevent out of hours messaging.
Yes - just pick today's date during checkout and the nearest time offered and our system will ensure it goes out after payment.
Each ecard goes to one recipient. To send to several people, place a separate order for each - that
way each recipient gets their own personalised link.
Yes, just reply to your confirmation email with the change. We can update the message, recipient
name, email, SMS or send date right up until the moment it's delivered. After it's been sent, we can't
recall it.
Yes - the card opens as soon as you start typing or pick a handwriting photo, so you'll see exactly
what your recipient will see.
Check the email address / SMS phone number on your order confirmation first — typos are the most common cause. If it
looks right, ask them to check their spam folder. You can also send the link we sent to you in your Ecard confirmation email to them directly. If you still need help, reply to your confirmation
email and we'll re-send.
Drop us a note at hello@cardhero.com with your order number and the correct mobile. We'll re-send the text or, if you'd prefer, switch the order to email or link delivery.
No. The cost of the text is included in the price of the ecard.

No. They just open the link on any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser.
You take a photo of your message on plain white paper. We strip out the paper background and turn
your handwriting into clean digital ink that displays on the card. For best results, write with a
dark pen on plain white paper in good even light. Make sure that only a white background is in the picture for best results.
Shipping
- Free Standard Delivery — Royal Mail 2nd Class, aims to arrive in 2-3 working days.
- Express Delivery — Royal Mail 1st Class, aims to arrive the next working day (Monday-Saturday).
- Tracked Delivery — Royal Mail Tracked 48 with full tracking and photo proof of delivery, aims to arrive within 1-2 working days.

Returns
We're sorry — that shouldn't happen. Email us at hello@cardhero.com within 14 days of receiving your order with a photo of the damaged card and your order number. We'll send a replacement free of charge or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer. You won't need to return the damaged card.
Yes. Under UK distance selling rules, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. You then have a further 14 days to return the cards to us.
To cancel, email us at hello@cardhero.com with your order number and we'll guide you through it. Cards must be returned unused and in their original condition, including the envelope.
Once we receive your returned cards (or, for damaged items, once you've sent us a photo), we'll process your refund within 14 days to the original payment method. If you chose Express or Tracked delivery, this will not be refunded unless the order itself was faulty.

Modifications are possible if the order hasn't been processed. Contact our support team for assistance.
